Wooden frame for Mounting Needlework Project, Perhaps Made by Wheatland Crafts.
I am listing a wooden frame I bought years ago at a needlecraft shop and never used. I am not sure what kind of wood it is, I had it packed in a drawer with no label. I am not sure if I ever had a label for it.
The outside measurements of the frame are 12" across the bottom, 3 1/2" on the sides and about 5 1/2" high at the arched center. The inside measurements, where the needlework design would fit are 10" across the bottom, 2" on the sides and 3 1/2" at the arched center.
I have a photo of an old cross stitch booklet that shows the frame used for an Amish design. The frame in this booklet was made by Wheatland Crafts. With no label, I can't say for sure that my frame is by the same company, but it is similar.
The booklet is not part of
the sale, only the frame
. And, of course, the frame could be used for any design you have in mind that would fit the inside area.
There are two small knicks in the front, lower left, of the frame.
