This listing is for a lovely evening accessory made by the Wadsworth Company. This small handbag has a camera shape with black suede fabric covering the front and back with a matching wristlet handle. The framing on the sides of the handbag are polished brass and there is a brass plaque on one side that can be monogramed (unused). The handbag opens on each side with a snap closure. The front section includes a leather coin purse and matching section for rouge and puff. There is also a slot for lipstick, a mirror with a comb stored behind the mirror. The thin back section may have been designed to hold cigarettes.
Measures 6 1/4" long (North to South) not including handle, 11 1/4" (North to South) including handle, 3 1/4" wide (East to West) and 1 1/4" deep. Weighs 11 ounces.
This nice handbag is in very good to excellent Estate condition and appears to have never been used. The brass body is clean and bright on both the interior and exterior and the fabric reflects no damage or signs of wear. The interior mirror does reflect streaks from aging and the brass medallion on the outside is streaked with this being the only detraction to this lovely accessory.
