Soooo 60s Mod is this fabulous and rare in this condition, 1968 Twist n Turn Barbie with the flip hairstyle. Barbie is wearing her original diamond pattern knit swimsuit with the yellow trim and low back. She is in outstanding condition and man is she a beauty!
This doll is so, so incredible. Please see all the photos and my detailed description together to get an idea for yourself. Dolls like this don't come along very often. This doll is so clean, completely working body without detractions and she retains her original swimsuit. All she is missing is her box!
Let's talk about Barbie's details. She has the less common auburn colored hair, styled of course, as this doll should be, with a flip hairstyle. Her hair is shiny and silky. There are no missing hair plugs. Her face is just lovely. She has nice long thick rooted eyelashes. Her eyeliner and eyebrows are 100%. Her lips are the darling power pink and pouty and fabulous. She has absolutely no trace of green ear, common on these mod dolls.
Barbie's body is nice and tight! The limbs easily hold position and her legs hold position easily and hold all three clicks. The clicks are loud and tight too. Her body is clean, clean clean! No nips, scratches, pin pricks or bite marks. She has a very slight discoloration on her anatomical left forearm, hardly noticeable.
