    Description

    Old bottle of shoe dye stands about 4.5 inches tall. At bottom of label it has "JC Penney Co Inc".   Label has small tear you can see in picture.  You can't see into the dark bottle but it makes a noise when you shake it; so it has some of the dye still in it, if not all.  When I got it, the top of the cork was separated from the bottom (which was still in the bottle.)  I suppose someone had tried to pull out the cork but it broke in two instead.  I glued it back on and it seems to hold and look fine now.  So I caution against trying to remove the cork.  Nice advertising display piece and rare, I think.  Thanks for viewing.
