Description

Vintage Handmade Asian CLAY FROG TEAPOT Applied Design Signed
This fabulous teapot is from a collector's home/estate sale. It measures about 6.25" long with handle, approximately 3 inches tall at handle, and around 4.5" wide. (see photos)
It's in beautiful condition, and I see no chips or cracks.
I'm sorry to be ignorant, but I don't know if this is Chinese or Japanese.
Signed under the lid and the bottom of the pot.
The frog design is applied clay. There's even a tiny frog on the lily pad on the lid. There is what appears to be an acorn on the handle which is a twisted branch.
Also, there's a more modern looking design on each side of the pot.
Please look at all the photos as they are part of the description.
