Vintage Coin Operated 1 Cent Scale- Mills Novelty Co, American Automotive Sales Co. Condition is "Used".  Beautiful candy apple red paint finish.  Height 68"  .  Being sold AS-IS.
Face appears to be porcelain with blue and white enamel dial. Top mounted panel is beautifully detailed and reads " Correct Weight 1 Cent".  The shell motif back allows the scale to be proudly displayed right in the middle of a room- you wouldn't want to hide this against a wall.
Key is missing.  Scale had been previously restored.  Currently the metal at base of the scale pedestal stem and feet and on portion of scale itself has rust and pitting (see photos) a bit . Scale was exposed to high humidity during storage.   Being sold as-is.  Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
Payment or mutually agreed upon payment arrangement must be received within 3 days of auction close or seller reserves the right to relist the item.
Please note that we do not ship.  Buyer is responsible for arranging for pickup or packing/shipping.  We are happy to work with the shipper of your choice as best as possible with regards to scheduling the pickup.  Scale is at a first floor facility with easy access. Be advised the scale is neither crated, nor packed- your shipper will be responsible for any packing/crating.
