Vintage Birds Nesting Pair Crewel Goldfinch Needle Artist Framed Local Estate

Up for bid is a set of 2 small framed crewel yarn pictures, done by a talented local needle artist, and depicts the American Goldfinch and the Lesser Goldfinch Birds.  The brightly colored Yellow Goldfinch nesting pair are shown perched on tall reed grass, and the Lesser Goldfinch nesting pair are sitting on a fir tree branch—both usual behavior for these birds. Both crewel pictures are done on a cream colored woven crewel cloth that allows the lovely colors and the artistry of the artist to be showcased. The 6 ¾” by 8 ¾” frames are solid wood that has a neutral green finish, however these need to be repainted for full beauty.  Both are protected on the back with heavy brown craft paper to keep out household dust, and both crewel pictures in very good to excellent vintage condition (see photos).
Please keep in mind this is a vintage item, not a new item. I try to describe items as accurately as possible, mentioning any obvious flaws for accuracy of condition. Crazing and manufacturing flaws such as pin heads, color variations, straw marks, bubbles, inclusions, and other manufacturing anomalies are considered normal for glass, china, and pottery of age.
