Vintage 4" DUTCHESS Wooden Embroidery HOOP Sewing Collectable

I am offering an embroidery hoop.
Made by Dutchess.
NOTE: it is marked " felt cushion " BUT THERE IS NO FELT
I cannot see where there had been felt. There is no sign of glue or any indentation where the felt might have been!!!!!!!
It measures 4" on the inside hoop and the outside hoop is 4 1/4;
As you can see in the photos there is a slight gap between the hoops when put together..Maybe this suggests there was felt at one time
It is being offered as is, no felt.
