his is one of our favorite art glass vases. We originally owned about 200 pieces. Now down to about 40.
I reluctantly sell it but I am saving up for a trip for my
husbands 75 th birthday .
It is by far nicer and more elegant than any on the Kralik or Ebay website!
It may seem expensive compared to others that have sold but I think it is well worth it.
Art Glass vase made by Wilhelm Kralik Sohn of Eleonorenhain Bohmen (Bohemia).
The Vase is an Optic Iridescent Ribbed Vase with Applied fruit (grapes).
it measures approximately 3 3/8" tall, 4 3/4" in diameter from the outside of the applied Fruit Decoration.
The bottom of the Vase measures 2" in diameter.

 It has a lovely style of art glass similar to Steuben's Verre de Soie
It has Optic Vertical Ribbing throughout. On one side are Two elongated Grapes fused to the surface of the Glass with Green Leaves and stems. The Grapes are done is a deep Purple Iridescent glass with the leaves showing detailed veins in the leaves. You can actually feel the grooves in the leaves and these are done in a Green Iridescence. The base glass has soft white to clear iridescent finish.
Excellent Condition as there are no chips, cracks, nicks or dings.
polished top rim and no pontil mark on the bottom.
This means the vase was blown from the top and cut from the blowing pipe at the top of the neck and then polished.
This was quite common with the Bohemian Glass blowers of the day.
The Vase is unsigned but the shape and decoration can be documented at the on-line Kralik Glass Website. This Pattern Line was simply known as "Applied Fruit"
