    These task scissors are specifically designed for cutting metallic threads and cords.  Measuring 3.5" in length, the finger loops are very generous in size and rounded for comfort.  NEVER use your regular scissors for cutting metallic threads as they will dull and scar the blades.
    The serrated edge also grabs the thread to keep from splitting when cutting.
