    San Diego ,000,000 Sunshine Bond, issued May 26, 1938 Series D in Fine Condition, unfolded, certificate is 9in wide by 15 in high.  Sunshine bonds were issued for years as an novelty item to promote the San Diego area overall.  Because they were novelty bonds, few were saved.
