The pattern name is La Scala by Richard Ginori of Italy. This pattern was introduced in 1980 however it is no longer in production. The classic white body is decorated with a wide band of delicate scrolling ropes and vines in gold and green, richly banded in gold.
The gold banding and embellishments on this pattern are particularly wide and lush, making it one of Ginori's most expensive patterns.  The reflective finish of the gold makes some photos appear to have mottling which is actually just a reflection.
This listing was part of a vintage/estate set and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, pattern or gold loss.  There is some scuff marks to the wide gold banding and some gold loss to one of the branching decorations on rim, shown in photo.

The majority of my listings are vintage estate pieces or department store excess inventory. Light scratches from normal use or storage may be present on some pieces.  I list thousands of pieces making it impossible to describe each individual piece, but my inventory will never have chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, breaks or other flaws unless specifically and clearly called out in the listing description. In the unlikely chance a flaw escapes my inspection, please contact me and I will correct the situation.
I often have items that are in mint condition: new, unused, or still in the original boxes. These details will be noted in the item description.
PAYMENT:
I accept only Pay Pal. Payment is expected within 3 days of the completion of the listing. FL residents are required to pay 7% sales tax.
RETURNS:
You can buy with confidence. If for any reason you feel an item does not meet with your expectations, contact me to let me know what the problem is, and you may return it for a full refund within 30 days of receipt. Buyer pays return shipping.  A restocking fee may apply if free shipping was included on the order.  The item must be properly packed and returned in the same condition as shipped. You must contact me prior to any returns.
