Paper residue on back of each note from previous mounting. The white areas on the back of the note pictured in photo 7 show the paper residue left after removal from being mounted. Otherwise backs are blank. See examine the photos carefully as they are considered a part of the description.

    Description

    These are facsimile notes. These notes are novelties. Normal wear associated with an old paper collectible. Paper is wavy. Notes are approximately 71/8" Wide by 3" tall.
    The Republic of Texas was a sovereign state in North America that existed from March 2, 1836, to February 19, 1846, although Mexico considered it a rebellious province during its entire existence.
    Dating on the notes appears to be from 1838-42.
