    Description

    For sale is a RARE West Point USMA Fencing Jacket / Blazer made by Stanley Blacker. The jacket has a USMA fencing patch sewn on and two 7/8” brass buttons on the front and two 5/8” brass buttons on either cuff. The buttons are made by the Waterbury Button Co. This jacket was owned by a 1949 West Point graduate and USMA fencing alum.
    The jacket doesn’t have a size tag but as you can see from the last photos, it measures 28” from the collar to the bottom on the front and 23” down the sleeve. For reference, I am 6’1”, 200 lbs and I wear a 40 Long. This jacket fits me well in the chest but the sleeves come up short.
    As far as condition, the jacket is in very good shape. It has a few marks in it that I believe should come out with a dry clean. The sewing job in the patch is a little rough, but you can’t tell from far away. The patch is in excellent shape, as are the buttons.
