Not a reproduction!!
Earlier 1900’s Imperial Yellow!
The color is truly an old yellow ~ not new coloring!
As for age, this is difficult.  When the item was made, the nephrite large jade discs were antiques.  This would place the jade into Ching Dynasty ~ 19
th
century or possibly earlier.
Nice gold dipping rather than gilding.
Later in the 20
th
century, many copies of such teapots were made, but the yellow was not the true coloring or the jade as heavy, large, and quality varied.
This teapot was part of the achieve of China when shipped in over 35 years ago.
Never used and has been in a warehouse all this time.

There was stil a residue from the old cloth taping on the jade, but this has been cleaned….sorry did not catch it before the pictures.
The Rare Teapot measures approx. 12-1/2” high, 7-5/8” spout to handle, 3” bottom diameter, and 4-1/4” body diameter.  The jade measures average of 2-3/8” in diameter, and w/inset 5/16” thick (all handwork).
Please look closely at all pictures before bidding and ask any questions you may have.
Been shipping for 40 years all over the world with very few issues.
The natural wear of age cannot be avoided, To the best of my ability, I disclose anything that will show in pictures or state in the auction.
