    Description

    We were so intrigued by both the Elegant and Regal designs of these plates as well as their amazing condition, we couldn't resist them at an old estate sale.  They have an interesting design including depictions of Heraldic Coats of Arms, Banners flying from the tops of illuminated turrets and signed what appears to read S. Morin.  Each plate is stamped on the back with the logo from Verbano Porcellana Di Laveno. We scrutinized and there are no chips, cracks, fleabites, or crazing and since we couldn't even detect a scratch we surmise they were never used.  The set of 6 are each approximately 8 1/8" diameter and feature a ruffled rim embellished with gold gilding. Our research couldn't find even "one" like these so again we believe these are fairly rare.
