PLASTIC DULCIMER AMAZING DETAILS (NOT FOR PLAYING)
I don't know plastics, but I do know dulcimer. The person who built this dulcimer knew both very well.
The plastic is 1/16” thickness, and any joints look perfect to me. There is appropriate bracing as needed. It is sturdy as can be.
Of course, it was not made to be a musical instrument, although a pick on the strings does produce a note.
But the details of the dulcimer part is quite authentic. Right down to the tapered tuners and the bridge.
It is quite an interest catcher.
