his circa 1922 -1940 aluminum bodied stethoscope is stamped on the top of the cast aluminum body "J. POLLANDS SCOPE" and measures 3" TALL to top of the BINAURAL input stems and is 1 3/4" 2: in diameter.
IN "AS FOUND" CONDITION.  Almost a century old.    Binaural nickelled metal headpiece is of a different manufacture.
Wear, discoloration to aluminum and rust to metal parts is consistent with age and use.  The stethoscope lacks one of three springs and knurled tightening knob as shown.  Plus the scope head lacks it's vibrating drum membrane.   Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
