    Description

    The Nicaragua 50 Cordobas Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Nicaragua in 2014. Featured on the obverse of this purple banknote is the entrance to the Mercado de Artesanias (craft market) building in Masaya, two xylophones, palm trees, and a flag. The reverse of the note depicts the coat of arms of Nicaragua, folkloric ballet dancers, and two xylophones. The banknote contains a simulated solid security thread and a watermark that reflects 50. The note is 141 x 67 mm in size. It bears the signatures of Reyes and Ivan Adolfo Acosta Montalban. This particular banknote is printed on polymer and has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
