Vintage - New condition - never framed, Printer's Proof print of a pair of American Goldfinches close up in a meadow, showing the elegant realism by renown artist, Michael Budden.
In original condition, has never been framed, on handmade Crimson Atelier paper watermarked BFK Rives France, and sealed in the lower left corner.  Always refer to photos prior to placing your bids.
This print is hand signed in pencil by the artist, Michael Budden, below the image in the lower right corner, signed in the plate in the image in the lower right corner, and noted 1/ Printer's Proof in pencil below the image in the lower left corner.  There is a notation in pencil by the printer, B+10% - No Contrast - Approved.
The image measures 9 x 17 1/8 inches, the paper the image is printed on measures 12 3/4 x 22 3/ inches.  This print will be carefully packaged and shipped slightly rolled in a tube.

Nice print, and a nice piece of American art history.  This item is from a family collection that they collected/bought as early as the 1970's, that's when they had a brick n mortar as this was their business since 1981, prior to his passing in 2007, with too many items to grade, appraise or otherwise, and has been in storage for 20+ years (in possession/storage since before 2007), so we are just trying to clear things out.  By no means are we authenticators of any of these items, we try to give adequate information to the best of our ability and as the items are unpacked and placed up for auction/BIn.
