    Description

Here  is a button that is not seen for sale very often. The school has quite a story. It started in 1885 as a Music school by Orvon Graff Brown in Germantown, OH. It was also known as Twin Valley College. In 1894 the school changed its name to Miami Military Institute switching from Music to Military courses. It was a big thing happening all over with schools. It operated until the Great Depression in 1929 and from declining enrollment. The building later became a church camp. So this button dates from 1895 to 1929. It has a back mark from the Cincinnati Regalia Co. that made buttons for band uniforms. An unusual button with a great story if it could only talk. Add this unusual piece to your collection today. Button measures 7/8".
