This is a Beautiful  New Hourglass Mountain Dulcimer Handcrafted by Professional Luthier Ed Maze of Florida USA
It has our unique  Style Headstock with a feature strip of Maple
It features our Hummingbird and Flowers Sound Holes
We use all solid woods on our Dulcimers
Top Wood is Sitka Spruce
The Back and Sides are made of Solid Book matched Walnut with Maple Feature Stripe
Notice the beautiful rich looking wood grain on the back and sides
The Back has a feature strip of Maple
It is 25 1/4" Scale Length  (Vibrating string length)
Fingerboard is Walnut with Maple Face and has Abalone Dot Markers
Fingerboard  is Oil Rubbed Finish so that if it should show wear it can be restored by rubbing with Neatfoot Guitar Fingerboard oil or any other finishing Oil.
Body is finished in Hand Rubbed Lacquer
It has an Ebony Nut and Compensated Saddle
Covered geared Tuning Machines
Top Quality Nickel Silver Frets
It has the 6 1/2 Fret and 13 1/2 th fret installed
It also has a Strap button on bottom and can be tied thru our Unique Headstock on the top
Overall Size is approx. 33 1/2" X 7 X 3 1/4" deep counting fingerboard
body sides are about 2 1/4 " deep
The last photo is a sample to show the construction of our instruments, You can see the scalloped bracing on the inside of the top and bottom, and corner bracing on the sides. Also shows the opening under the fingerboard which makes for the best sound, This photo is not of this instrument but shows how we make our instruments.
