    Hughes 4 String Dulcimer USA Hand Crafted in Denver Colorado
    This is a "Hughes Dulcimer Company" 4 string dulcimer. 4 Heart Shaped sound holes on top of sound board.
    The wood of the back, sides and top have a Walnut Look to me. The headstock and fretboard look a different wood.
    Sounds and plays well to my testing. See the photo of label for exact location of manufacture.
    Great overall shape playing well.  I have played around with it. I don't know that it's standard pitch, but it is in tune with itself with the bass string and next single string being tuned to a 5th, and the double strings, aka melody strings, also tuned to the 5th. Scale length on this piece is approximately 29". Entire length is approximately 36 & 1/2 inches.
