The history of the creation of the Russian harp begins in the 30s of the 20th century, in the class of Vera Dulova. Among the students were two young engineers - Alexey Kaplyuk and Sergey Maykov. Immediately after the end of World War II, the first instrument were ready, and already in 1951 at the factory named after Lunacharsky in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) was organized serial production of several models of pedal harps. In fact, it was the first harp factory in post-war Europe.
Restore production under a new name - Resonance Harps - manages only in 2006. We were united by a dream - to restore the production of pedal harps in St. Petersburg, to establish the release of high-quality and modern instruments. And we managed to realize it: at present we are the only manufacturer of pedal harps in the CIS and are among the five full-cycle harp productions in the world.
