    Hand Carved & Painted Gold Finch
    State bird of Iowa, New Jersey & Washington
    This was hand carved and painted out of poplar wood on bass wood base. I have had this wooden bird for over 36 years. This was being carved according the book
    "Bird and Flower Emblems of the United States" by Hilda Simon 1978.
    The artist signed on the bottom. The Gold Finch is the state bird of Iowa, New Jersey, and Washington. Please see our other items on ebay, thanks for looking.
