This is a rare promotional postcard from the first Broadway revival of the GEORGE GERSHWIN, IRA GERSHWIN and DU BOSE HEYWARD American Folk Opera "PORGY AND BESS" at the Majestic Theatre in New York City. (The production opened January 22nd, 1942 and closed September 26th, 1942 after 286 performances.) . DETAILS: The  postcard measures 5 1/2" X 3 1/2" inches and includes beautiful graphics on the front and promotional text on the correspondence side .
