Flat-Top Nickel & Glass Jewelry Bakery Display Case for Stores
This antique showcase is from the early 20th c. and features a simple oak base wrapped in thick-gauge nickel. It features a flat-top, narrow rectangular upper case stacked over the demi-lune bottom. The upper display case features a glass bottom and brackets for second shelf. It has a pair of double-slide wooden doors fitted into its back.
The bottom case features double-slide mirrored doors, though the mirrors do show signs of silvering
. It is also lined in thick, teal-colored felt. The piece features its original glass on all three sides and on the very top of the piece. It has
elegantly
molded
cornices on all for corners and brass pulls inserts in all the doors.
It measures 34 1/2" high, 36 1/2" wide, and 24 1/2" deep. It weighs between 50-75 lbs.
This item is in good condition. It does show minor signs of wear from both age and use. The mirrored backs show some silvering and there are some dents visible in the nickel-plated cornices and
molding
