Cloisonne' Eyeglass Chain Holder Black w/ Blue Gold Flowers Enamel Handmade 6mm & 8mm
25 1/4" long. Tip to tip.
Round Cloisonne': 6mm and 8mm
All gold is 14k GF including findings: (crimps, 4mm balls) and liquid gold.
These are smooth Liquid Gold beads, sometimes the photo makes it look twisted. Each bead is approx. 4mm long.
The elastic attachment for the glasses is purchased as seen. The elastic is strong and does not stretch easily, I have used this variety for years.
The metal attaching the elastic is a base metal.
I use Beadalon Professional Bead Stringing Wire.
On this eyeglass chain I used .024" (.61mm) diameter, 49 strand nylon coated stainless steel. 40# (18kg) break.
I am selling my business and inventory. I have been making jewelry since 1995. All of my jewelry is made with great care. I have customers that have purchased jewelry back in 95' that still wear it. I would not suggest wearing it in the shower, since this is beaded and soap scum will take away from its brilliance.

Cloisonne' A very old art form that was practiced in ancient Byzantium and China. An enameling technique in which thin wire partitions are filled with enamel. First, delicate strips of copper wire are bent to create a design, then soldered onto the bead surface. The spaces are then filled with different colored enamels. Finally, the bead is fired and polished several times to produce the desired effect.
