    What a great vintage necktie found in this paper mailer along with a fold out 2 part informational letter from Paunee Bill along with one part from the Superintendent  S/.M.GREEN-Missouri School For the Blind dated May 17, 1926.
    According to the info-"Paunee Bill" was the name taken by BILL PRESBERGER who tried to make his living by sending 'high quality neckties" to people thru the mail and asking them to inspect and return "ONE DOLLAR" as a payment to purchase "THREE" neckties!
    There was ONE mint necktie found in this  postal mailer still folded around a long cardboard piece that also included info and a  1926 calendar from Paunee Bill-as you can read in the info-he requested any returns ASAP-noting he simply could not afford to have his merchandise 'just laying around'! Also you can see the age lines of this one original 'quality' necktie that was found folded over the cardboard information.
    He describes his neckwear as "THREE FIBRE SILK KNITTED TIES"and being of highest grade both in style and quality and latest ideas in TUBULAR KNITS!!!
