Description
Back in the 1970s, when I began building dulcimers, the old timers suggested several wood combinations. As the years past, I used different woods, but in the last year or so, I have gone back to my roots, and started to construct the Heritage Series to create an authentic but modern North Carolina dulcimer. I employ updated techniques that now make a dulcimer withplenty
of volume and character of tone. No wimpy dulcimers here! This is the best of both worlds, and they sound truly wonderful.
Low comfortable action. A finish to rival an expensive guitar. Perfect intonation right up the fingerboard.
I am a small town luthier doing things the old fashioned way. My instruments are not available from any retail site, only direct from my shop in Western North Carolina. Your satisfaction guaranteed.
North Carolina cherry body (all pieces matched, of course)
NOTE:
any discoloration in the photo is from the flash!
