This Backpacker has 4 strings and plays the same as a lap dulcimer but is strung up opposite so can be hung around the neck.
Crafted from beautiful select Black walnut, poplar and butternut woods. 3 piece hand carved laminated walnut and poplar neck and 5 piece head. Fretboard is gorgeous burl black walnut overlay.
Soundboard is Butternut used for incredible sound resonation!
Body is gorgeous select black walnut with poplar inlay.
