7 Dinner Soup Bowls
These beautiful antique classic dinner soup bowls were made by Ginori of Italy, probably sometime during the last quarter of 19th century.
The bowls measure 9 5/8" (24.5cm) wide and stand 1 5/8" ( 4 cm) tall.
The rim  has a rich textured
gold
Neoclassical laurel leaf design that makes the bowls pop!
There is some light
gold
wear noted along the edges of the bowls.
This is not really noticeable except on close inspection.
The condition for the bowls is excellent and very clean.
There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.

Ginori
The underside makers mark on these bowls is a very rare one of Ginori marks.
I do believe this mark was used for a short time after the  Unification of Italy ( Risorgimento) in 1861 but before 1896 when Ginori marked the pieces with "Richard Ginori".
Stern Brother of New York, founded 1867 in Buffalo N.Y.,  moved to New York City in 1868.
The company was a  family business retailer of  domestic and imported luxury goods, and
was the importer and the seller of these soup bowls.
Classic Looks and Timeless Appeal
The
gold
laurel leaf decoration is very strong and shiny, surface do not show glaze wear but there are a few very light utensil marks.
These bowls can be also used as a large salad bowl.
