    Description

It's a bowed psaltery. The inside is hand-marked as made in 1991 by David Kingslake in Red Creek, West Virginia. Kingslake (1936-2002) was an Appalachian Mountain luthier and craftsman.
This one has been barely played and is excellent or near excellent condition. The back and top are mahogany, solid, I believe. The sides look like maple.
It has all its 25 strings. It comes with the proper tuning wrench. It comes with the original bow, which is just about hairless. It comes with a replacement bow too, a regular smaller size violin bow. It also comes with a cake of rosin and a cleaning tool that helps dust under the strings. And it comes in the original box.
It's a fine old instrument, ready to play.
