Description
Travel back in time with this fine Appalachian mountain dulcimer. Built by the renowned dulcimer builder Warren A. May in Berea, Kentucky in March 1990.It's a four-string hourglass dulcimer. It uses May's old wooden tuning pegs. Both the pegs and peg holes are in good round.
Except for a crack in the upper bout side (see photo), it's in great condition. No case. Built of fine tone woods. Solid top.
I tuned it to DDAD. It sounds great. It has a great deal of sustain.
Questions?
