1990 Warren A. May Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer. Madein Berea, Kentucky

Travel back in time with this fine Appalachian mountain dulcimer. Built by the renowned dulcimer builder Warren A. May in Berea, Kentucky in March 1990.
It's a four-string hourglass dulcimer. It uses May's old wooden tuning pegs. Both the pegs and peg holes are in good round.
Except for a crack in the upper bout side (see photo), it's in great condition. No case. Built of fine tone woods. Solid top.
I tuned it to DDAD. It sounds great. It has a great deal of sustain.
