Description
Well, here’s a rather interesting one …Usually, when you see a Rugg & Jackel Folk Roots dulcimer, it’s typically an S-model, meaning spruce top - for example, D40S or D50S; (and after 1979), D100S, D500S - but very rarely, a non-S model.
Until now.
This is a 1986 R&J D50—it has a walnut laminate top and body. With rosewood fretboard and scroll peghead. A rare bird.
Production number 34864: fourth dulcimer finished on March 4, 1986.
In standard D tuning, with inner melody string removed (but all tuners work fine).
Great tone, and in great shape, this will add welcome variety to your dulcimer collection.
Sorry, no case.
Ships to Continental USA only.
